The full moon shone upon us so bright,
The entire humanity bathed in its light,
You have been the person so beautiful in sight,
You brought us all from the darkness to light,
You were born as a pure miracle,
Your face was like fresh flower,
Nobody ever matched your virtues,
As you were the person par excellence!
You filled the earth with justice and fairness,
The best of creature with good manners and uniqueness,
Your perspiration had an appealing scent of musk,
The sick were healed by your touch,
You were sent as mercy to all worlds,
Most sublime being travelled from one sacred place to another (Masjid al Haram to Al Aqsa),
You were the best guarantor of man’s salvation,
The chosen one who was closest to Allah’s creation,
Forgiveness and generosity were the backbone of your message,
You commanded to do good and forbade bad,
You split the beautiful moon in two,
Surely it has connection with heart a true,
Trees came walking to you with no feet,
The most distinguished of all creations and most believed,
You believed nothing is eternal in this ephemeral world,
The best of beings whose intercession we hope for,
Your birth revealed the purity of your ancestry,
The most pious being ever born in history,
May our Lord grant peace and blessings upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w).
