This is the story of boy who hath wisdom,
Who laid his life for Allah and his religion,
The boy who got light of guidance,
Stood firm against tyrant king and his magician,
There was a king who hath court magician,
The magician became old and weakened,
Asked the king to arrange boy be trained as replacement,
A boy clothed in innocence,went to learn magic from evil incarnation,
On the way he met wise monk who taught him God’s religion,
Thus his heart was filled with pure intention,
Once a huge beast blocked the path of civilians,
Confused betwixt way of monk and magician,
He seeked Allah’s help for guidance,
Taking Allah’s name he hit the beast with stone,
The beast was killed in an instant!
Boy perceived truth and sticked to God’s religion,
Monk was happy with his disciple’s achievement,
Opined he there is impending persecution,
King came to know about monk’s intention,
He summoned monk in his kingdom,
He asked him to renounce his religion,
Being on Allah’s side he chose martyrdom,
His head was sawed half in punishment,
Then boy turn came who showed perseverance,
King devised ways for his assassination,
God’s will saved him on every occasion,
Boy told king for killing him, should act under his obedience,
Asked king to gather people on the elevation,
Tying him to a tree,taking boy’s Lord’s name should shot arrow in his direction,
King followed boy’s directions,
Boy’s noble soul ascends unto his Lord of Heavens,
Seeing this people affirmed Allah’s allegiance,
King ordered ditches to be dug at road’s junction,
For people to put in flames following Allah’s religion,
A woman with a small baby came,
For putting steps in fire she was hesitant,
“You are on the truth mother”said baby with conviction,
Hastened to meet their Lord they jump in conflagration!
Believers never left their faith and faced persecution,
We mourn their tragedy and commemorate their martyrdom,
Indeed cursed were the owners of ditch,
Who get from their Lord the tormenting disgrace as punishment!!
