Foolish Whispers

Woe to every sneering defamer,

Who spy and slander one another,

Woe to tongue that spread venom,

Who defame their believing sisters and brothers,

Beware o heart of this treacherous art,

Of spreading tales and fuelling fires,

Gossip is a harvest of malicious tongue,

That steals people’s dignity and reputation,

It chokes people with no ventilation,

Keeping tight rein on their tongues,

People will be true to their religion,

Better to walk a way without arguments,

For its easy to judge rather understand,

Remaining quiet is more friendly and open,

O ye people who believe with tongues,

God’s faith has not entered thy hearts!

Thou will be flung in crushing ones,

Fires enclosed in towering columns,

A major sin which necessitates repentance,

It’s a distasteful act equalled to cannibalism!
