Masirah

The beauteous morning calm and free,

Isle full of sweet sounds and fragrant breeze!

Here dawn is alive with subdued light,

Balmy winds whispered in soft sighs,

Sunrise upon ocean a magnificent sight!

Flying on wings of pure ecstasy,

Far from madding crowd,

Whence my Maker provided me blissful sight,

Palm trees swinging side by side,

Makes my weary spirits alive!

Sea gulls scurried between each waves,

For in it their bounty lies,

Beneath the canopy of starry nights,

Masirah glows with tranquil night,

The sailors brave the whelming surge,

Confronts the storm with great stride,

The bruises and scrapes in their limbs,

Tell the tale of their arduous ride,

Within my heart is deeply carved,

An island,an idyll,the lambent moonlight,

It’s Allah’s masterpiece so wondrous in sight!
