Harut and Marut

From heavens high they descend with grace,

In Babylon,the city on Euphrates,

Harut and Marut the guardians of faith,

Commanded by Allah,The Disposer of Affairs,

To test hearts of people,a trial so great!

They taught magic who  reiterates,

With voices pure they cautioned human race,

The path of magic verily leads to disgrace,

Magic sowed discord and manipulate,

The vows that two true hearts make!

Those who trade their soul away,

They are bound by satan’s chains,

Thus jaws of hell were opened to embrace,

Devouring souls their resting place!

Temptations robbed them of eternal grace,

In every trial Allah elevates,

The righteous ones,whose integrity stays!
