Grandmother’s Love

A garden of love my grandma’s heart,

Created magic in kitchen her dextrous hands,

The aroma of halwa and its magnetic charm,

Brought us to kitchen like bees swarm,

With every bite from her gentle hands,

Wrapped us in comfort a soothing balm,

A sprinkle of love her secret charm,

Her sewing machine hummed a gentle sound,

She stitched my frocks with loving hands,

While crafting my dress her fingers danced,

Around her my uncles and aunts sung beautiful songs,

There lied love untold and childhood’s warmth,

In her embrace i found my comfort zone,

Now i missed her laughter and warmth,

In every nook and corner her memory lingers along,

In quiet room she lied in peace,

Her fight for life so brave and deep,

Unto Allah her good soul retreat,

At last her noble soul found peace,

Now she is gone her light stays on,

The void she left is wide and deep,

May her legacy in our hearts keep,

What a incredible life my grandmother lived!

May her soul rest in peace.Aameen.
