Vanity Fair

All is vanity nothing fair,

Fickle heart loves fleeting cheers!

They seek their worth in others approval,

For external validation seems good to hear,

A stranger telling,’ you look good today’,

A tender glance a breath of fresh air,

To fit their world men bend and sway,

World is reflection of man’s own face,

Authenticity is hard now a days,

Self worth lives within nor far or vague,

Without external validation man exits his cage,

One should seek validation from divine grace,

For Allah’s validation is here to stay.
