Ode to children of palestine

The world stood and stared;innocent children died,

Their eyes once aglowed with future bright,

Now hold the darkness of perpetual war crimes,

Their dreams are shattered, they are in constant fright,

Their hearts are scarred for the rest of their lives,

“Sigh no more my children not sigh”,

You suffered, starved  and grew obscured from sight,

In Allah’s name you are  sacrificed,

Hence you were held dearer in Allah’s sight,

How long the cruel nations would kill thine?

Verily they can’t extinguish freedom’s light,

A whisper of hope in dark silent night,

This is my prayer to thee Al-Ba’ith,

Give the world a strength to never bend their knees before insolent might!
