Silence is Golden

When fools speak don’t reciprocate,

Their wit is like witless ass,

Lending ear will ease their strain,

Ignoring them their breathe might wane,

With trivial discourse they took offense,

That shows great pride or little sense,

They walk in trance with exaggerated gait,

Their mouths vomits all,nothing digests,

From tongues of fools  nobody  were spared,

Whether they were Allah’s prophets or sage,

They fill their heads with people’s empty praise,

For fools will laud what other fools create,

With low self esteem their minds decay,

Wise man’s silence mocks their loud display,

With patience they keep fools at bay,

Fools attack others honour with scurrilous details,

Wise men give no heed to their malicious tales,

O Allah give fools the wiser brain!

So that from their folly they  learn the right way.
