Eternal Light

Surrounded by miseries one endures pangs of life,

Every soul shall taste death our delusion will die,

Death lays its ruthless hands covered with ice,

No more the mundane struggles,no more the strife,

No traveller returns when death hold tight,

Freed from most loathed worldly life,

Bounty of Allah surrounds us from all sides,

O Beneficient One,forgive our crimes,

Beyond veil of life our soul partakes flight,

We stand before you Lord, our heart open and wide,

Let our soul bath in Most Merciful’s eternal light,

O Allah let our soul rest in paradise,

Awaiting for re-union when darkness will turn to light,

Grant us peace and joy, beyond earthly ties.Aameen.
