Illumined was face of Musa on blessed mount sinai,
In sacred valley of tuwa, he saw Allah’s divine light,
Allah chose Musa,asked him to free bani Israel,
From the clutches of pharaoh the despicable vile,
Elated was Musa a moment of epiphany arrived,
Musa’s hand became radiant,he was overjoyed!
His staff became a serpent, then instantly revived,
Miraculous signs to assist him in mission so high,
Musa went to pharaoh to gave Allah’s message forthright,
To accept Allah,The Lord of Worlds and heavens above skies,
Allah’s love a fortress,made knot on his tongue untie,
Pharaoh scoffed him, with arrogance override,
He summoned magicians,masters of exploits,
Their snakes slithered forth,a spectacle so bright,
Musa’s staff swallowed their magic with Allah’s great might,
Magicians gasped in awe and submitted to Allah,The Most High,
Allah made Musa the prophet,gave him glorious life,
He send Torah to Musa,therein was guidance and light,
Blind were pharaoh’s eyes though Allah gave him time,
Musa smote red sea with his staff,fled with bani israel,
Allah divided the sea in two paths revealing pathway dry,
Pharaoh followed them in pursuit blinded by pride,
The sea no longer split in two he failed to realise,
Along with his crew drowned pharaoh in depths of red sea roaring high!
Allah disgraced pharaoh, the vainglorious man full of pride,
Verily many amongst humankind are heedless of Allah’s signs.
