Virtues of Madinah

O Taybah,Taybah land of sweet ajwa,

Hath garden of heavens Rawdatul Jannah,

Here people’s hearts,pounds in love of Rasullulah(s.a.w),

And wandering slaves melts like candles before Allah!

Here ansars found peace in shade of Mustafa(s.a.w),

For emigrants,their hearts was opened by Allah,

Here  Prophet(s.a.w) laid the foundation of masjide Quba,

In jannat ul baqi,lies the graves of devout slaves of Allah,

Here jabal Uhud in awe,trembled for Uthman(r.a.),Abu bakr(r.a.) and Rasullulah(s.a.w),

Here winds bear the fragrance of devout slaves of Allah,

In Masjide Nabwi,there are echoes of Prophet’s(s.a.w) khutbah,

Here Umar(r.a.) was martyred in mosque of Rasullulah(s.a.w),

Here king and poor stand in one row in court of Allah,

The beggar on this door is king of duniya,

The angels are guarding the doors of Haram Rasullulah,

Allah and his prophet(s a.w) love this city Dar al Hijrah,

Salam to our beloved Rasullulah(s.a.w),

O Allah in our hearts lies Al-Mu’mina,Al-Mubarakah,Al Mahbouba and Haram Rasullulah.
