Sa’ad ibn Muadh(r.a.)

A gallant man with radiant face,

Siddiq al ansar a man of grace,

Bold and strong, a defender of faith,

How beautifully he fought against quraysh!

To protect the Prophet(s.a.w),was his sole aim,

Banu qurayzah’s promise,a pact betrayed,

The sword of justice shall not be swayed,

He spoke the law on people’s face,

Banu qurayzah’s men with their blood will pay,

Sa’ad had judged in accordance with Allah’s way,

For him angels opened, heavens gate,

The body of Sa’ad ibn Muadh was light weight,

Seventy thousand angels attend his wake,

Each time companions dug Sa’ad’s grave,

They smelt musk until they reached his burial niche,

For him The Throne of Merciful with joy shaked!

Indeed Sa’ad ibn Mu’adh was very brave.
