Ali ibn Abi Talib (r.a.)

Hail the glory of valiant martyr,

Who embraced martyrdom from his Maker,

Fear of death never entered his heart,

Ali ibn Abi Talib(r.a.) a gallant warrior,

Fourth caliph of islam,brave and chivalrous,

In battles he played the knightly part,

His eyes with intense passion scanned,

Zulfiqar he gazed upon for combat,

From his falchion,gushed enemies blood,

Hearing his name,they shivered  in terror!

His love for Prophet(s.a.w.) was unbounded,

To protect him was his sole endeavour,

Man of courage who struck Marhab’s head,

And captured Khaybar with unwavering strength,

Spoke with wisdom,stood firm in commitment,

Verily the fame of Ali, is like glitter of sun,

Brightly blazing like luminary of righteousness.
