Star of Prophet’s(s.a.w) ummah,valiant and wise,
May to highest heavens her beautiful soul resides,
When duty bids,was ready for instant sacrifice,
Prophet’s(s.a.w) life was dearer to her,than her own life,
In battle of Uhud verily she displayed strong might,
When an invader tried to attack fortress high,
In which were the women and children hiding for life,
Verily like a lightning bolt, on his head she striked,
And threw the body of slained man on her enemies side,
Seeing this they dispersed with afright,
Indeed with Allah’s mercy she triumphed,
Seeing her brother Hamzah(r.a.) martyrized,
“We belonged to Allah,unto Him is our return,”saying this she sighed,
Her soul was like a star shining bright,
May Allah’s peace and blessings upon her,
Indeed her virtues will always shine.
