Eid ul Fitr

As soon as we watched the crescent,

Our hearts swelled up with wonderful emotions!

Eid ul Fitr a blissful celebration,

Chanting Allah u Akbar we declare His Excellence,

So let us beseech the Creator of existence,

To reward us for our fasting and qiyam,

People of city poor, rich,  old and young,

Assemble in masjid,asks for their Lord’s blessings,

Every hug is a source of happiness,

Each soul celebrates the spirit of festival,

God is great is constant on our tongues,

On each soul descends grace of Omnipotent,

Eid ul Fitr a joyous celebration!
