Vanguard of islam Hamzah ibn Abdul Muttalib(r.a),
Donned armour to face victory or death,
A muslim prepared for noble offering of self,
In defending Allah’s most beloved( Muhammad s.a.w),
Fought bravely in battle of Uhud,
Killed by wahshi bled to death,
Saffiyyah(r.a) his sister uttered on his death,
“To the happy paradise of Allah he was invited,
Such a destiny of Hamzah(r.a), was what he wanted,
O brother may Allah for what you did make you rewarded,”
O bright star of ummah and splendour of islam,
Blessings be upon you who led the life glorious.
