The Unspoken Remains

Silent the best of men remained silent and died,

Ye departed escaped the anguish of life,

And carried all lamentations to Creator of paradise,

Ye slumber in your silent grave,

For others their cups are empty these nights,

Cold and dry from all sides,

They tied stone to their bellies,

Waiting for their hunger to subside,

All the blood in their body dried,

They dug for their family in vain,

The veins in their forehead stood taut,

At the end of hour when every bone got cracked,

Life for them hath no joy,no love or light,

Faced trials that led astray even the right mind,

What a calamity hath befallen them!

Which left both young and old distraught,

They listened the emptiness spreading far and wide,

New moon of victory will shine through gloomy night,

Verily they follow islam as their guide,

O Allah let the hearts of people be revived,

And bring their dead aspirations back to life.
