Deep in my heart the light of ALLAH shines,
AR-RAHMAN asked my soul who’s at the door?
I said mere dust,before Divine,
AR-RAHIM asked what do you desire?
I said AL-AFUW’S forgiveness,
O AR-RAUF don’t drive me away as YOU’RE most kind,
I fixated my eyes on AL-MUIZZ,
Is there anything in heavens which is so beautiful in sight!
O people defile not your eyes with human beauty,
DHUL JALALI WAL IKRAM is ready to give us surprise,
The drum of resurrection has been beaten,
Thus grace of OMNIPOTENT descended upon mine,
MALIK UL MULK with his angels arrived!
The trumpet hath been blown twice,
Fettered spirits infront of AL-GHAFFAR arrived,
O ALLAH recalling their bad deeds their tears before AL-HAKAM dried,
Some want to flee from fear,before AL-KHABIR no soul can remain poised,
Those who exercised patience,resisted temptations and sacrificed,
ASH-SHAKUR will shake the bounty for His righteous slaves who exercised restraint likewise,
Hell fire flames intensifies AL-HASIB’S countenance now terrifies,
Disbelievers writhing in agony,before AL-HAYY’S decree,they bow down and resign,
For them their both worlds destroyed,
Life after death is sorrow for them before AL-MUNTAQIM no reasoning applies,
Fearing AL-BAQI’S anger,their self reproach multiply,
Angels put them in fire,AL-MALIK’S command they executed in no time,
AL-BARI is ever truthful their souls indeed justify,
AL-AZIZ will never bring retribution,their sayings are now falsified,
With AL-MUSAWWIR there will be no encounter,indeed they were having cob-webs on mind,
Verily the righteous souls would sip from rivers of paradise,
AS-SALAM will give them a pure drink which will purify their insides,
Here people will wear istabraq,their hands adorned with silver bracelets and alike,
Whoever is living in light of AL-QUDDUS,they will see their RABB’S bounty flies,
A royal splendour is shining in my heart,
That’s the beauty of AN-NUR,who’s always ALIVE!
