For the love of God, don’t put a mantle of hypocrisy,
Sell not for an instant the empire of eternity,
We are hollow people with painted face,
Listening and aping shallow celebrities who hath no grace,
We have a smile for hire, judge people by their attire,
We are part of proud world swollen with selfish vanity,
Our eyes reflect our soul, with no warmth there,
Judging people by their size, is now the new way to tyrannise!
If beauty is only skin deep, then how can we see the beautiful soul?
Our heart is dead yet alive with a plastic smile,
Man contort his actions, in forced disguise, under the garb of hypocrisy,
Lord enrich my soul and make my heart sincere,
So that I shall stand before you and find my acceptance there,
You abhorred ostentation and loved simplicity, from now onwards, I also rely on simplicity,
For Islam is a religion of simplicity.
