My Parents

Parents are a gateway to paradise,

In your love, I find strength and might,

While facing the trials of my life,

You were the guiding force of my life,

Forgive my mistakes, as I am human,

My Lord has decreed, to be kind to your parents,

Have mercy upon them, O my Lord!

For they cared for us, when we were small.

Forgive them Lord for their flaws,

For they taught me, to abide by Your laws,

Thank you both, for giving me the gift of life,

May Allah bless you with good health and righteous long life. Aameen.
