Prophet Solomon (a.s.)

A wise ruler of Israelite nation,

Who was grateful to Allah for HIS munificence,

He asked Allah for kingdom not inherited by anyone,

Being David’s(a.s.) heir,he inherited the language of birds and animal kingdom,

By Allah’s will wind subjected to Solomon’s command,

His army had different battalions of jinns,birds,animals and humans!

Once in assembly of Allah’s creations,he summoned hoopoe bird for its absence,

Hoopoe came and declared to Solomon,

Queen of Sheba was prostrating to sun,

Satan has made their deeds appealing to them,

Solomon didn’t destroyed her kingdom through oppression,

He invited her to Islam, sending letter as a mode of communication,

Willingly she came to Allah’s submission,

One humble bird lead an entire nation to Allah’s religion,

Solomon used jinn power in building architecture and construction,

They made high rooms,basins as large as reservoirs and cauldron,

Allah caused fount of molten brass to flow for this human!

Dome of Rock was made under his supervision,

His soul was taken away by his Lord,while it was under construction,

Bereft of knowledge of unseen,they(jinns) stayed in this humiliating torment,

Allah gave Solomon,the knowledge and providence,

Justice and compassion illuminated his kingdom,

A righteous servant who came turning back to Allah for repentance!
