Veil

Wearing veil is not a tradition,

It’s to abide by God’s commandment,

A woman in veil is pearl in her shell,

Protected from satan’s tempting ensnares,

Tabarruj is crime committed by women,

Exposing their beauty,they strut in arrogance,

Men mocked the hijab to which we wonder,

They want to see exhibitionists true colour!

Seeing women in veil,unruly passions are curbed,

Men minds are serene and undisturbed,

Haya doesn’t bring anything but good,

For veil covers man’s eye not woman’s,

Hijab is an expression of personal devotion,

The freedom to practice islam our religion.
