Khadijah (r.a.)

The gracious of all women was Khadijah al Kubra(r.a.),

A special salam was sent to her by Allah(s.w.t),

A paragon of compassion and altruism,

A noble woman who spent on indigent,

She earned epithet of Amerat Quraish and Al Tahirah,

Married to Muhammad(s.a.w) their’s was a perfect union,

Her love had been nurtured in his heart by Allah(s.w.t),

When Muhammad(s.a.w) received his first revelation,

By embracing his faith she allayed his apprehensions,

Her reassuring words took him out of his bewilderment,

She gave up everything in advocating islamic monotheism,

Along with her husband she faced persecution,

With Muhammad(s.a.w) she faced derision by Makkans,

She weathered the storm with dogged persistence,

Year of sorrow marked the death of his most loving companion,

A chosen one, whose home was made of hollow pearl in heaven,

She serves as a shining beacon for modern woman.
