Abu Bakr( r.a.),The Unbroken Bond

In cave of thawr,intense darkness reigned,

Two souls took refuge, from enemies of hate,

Prophet(s.a.w.) took to sleep on Abu bakr’s lap,

To guard Allah’s Prophet(s.a.w.) was his sole aim,

Sense of duty,in his heart, was ingrained,

In the sacred space,bond of friendship invigorate,

Soon enemies came and searched at mouth of cave,

Seeing them Abu bakr shivered,got really scared!

“Grieve not,Allah is with us” our noble Prophet(s.a.w) said,

“What thinkest thou of two,when Allah is their third”?

Enemies went back,they heard their steps retract,

Then to Taba, high spirited, they made their way,

Thus Prophet(s.a.w) made hijrah,for sake of Allah The Greatest,

Al-siddiq was the title,bestowed on this great legend,

Who supported the Prophet(s.a.w),in his noble mission,

From fire Allah,has given him salvation,

Great human being,on whom sun has ever risen!
