The Great Floods

Forty days and forty nights,

Nuh’s(a.s.) ark moving under the black sky,

Allah’s the Captain of boat so nice!

Embarked in the boat,believers took flight,

The storms and winds furiously arise,

Crashing peals of thunder in night,

The rains came heavily making loud noise,

Earth hath submerged for the first time,

With weakened pulse and feeble breath!

They remembered Allah,from morn till night,

Slowly fade the rains,the darkness subsides,

Allah’s helping hand made people guide,

The boat halted on mount Judi high,

Nuh(a.s.) thanked Allah and rejoiced,

Refuge Allah only in Thee lies,

Allah make men love peace and unite.
